Abandoned warehouses houl mournfully on the riverfront. Factories stare out from glassless windows. Churches compete in vain with liquor stores for the attentions of citizens not too strung out on the latest fix the poor have made popular. Rusted-out victims of grand theft auto litter the unplowed side streets, creating for many the only playground they'll ever see. Mages struggle against a Concensus that has lost hope. Garou and their allies take up arms, preparing to defend the few caerns remaining, the few places where Gaia's spirit can still be found.

| Rage Across the Motor City Code of Conduct |
The "Code of Conduct" for Rage Across the Motor City are the "rules" for the site. You can consider these the equivalent of a Terms of Service contract. You must read and understand this CoC prior to logging on to the chat system and playing.

These rules should be common sense to experienced gamers. If you are new to gaming, then you will probably find something worthwhile herein. If changes are made to these rules, then players will be notified via the OOC forums on this site.

Just as in life, rules are necessary to impart a sense of fairness and order. The owners of this site have many years of experience in role-playing, and feel that this list puts forth those ideas and values that help to promote role playing, and to make this an enjoyable time for all involved.

C O D E O F C O N D U C T

- Do not harrass, cajole, or purposefully irritate other players. This behavior will not be tolorated, and players who do this will be banned from the site.
- "Mature role playing" does not mean that you can freely spew across public rooms/forums language and descriptions that are better left to NC-17 movies. We ask that you keep any intimate and private scenes private. When such scenes are necessary to a storyline, we ask that you couch such descriptions in terms that are less...verbose.
- Racial slurs are not tolerated. The staff and players find them offensive. If absolutely necessary, within the confines of your character concept, then please try to keep them to a minimum.
- All players have the right to not participate in any scene that makes them uncomfortable or uneasy. If a player asks that the tone of a scene be changed, or requests that the scene making him/her uncomfortable be stopped, please do so! Failure to do so may result in your banishment.
- Do not impersonate other players or management. This means, if you are aware that a certain player uses the handle "Ralph" and you log in as such to post or to read private message, you will be banned. RAMC reserves the right to report such behavior to your ISP as well.
- Please do not interrupt in-character (IC) role playing for out-of-character (OOC) conversations. Please keep all OOC conversations confined to the OOC room/forums, or in instant messengers.
- Please do not use Rage Across the Motor City's chat rooms or forums to advertise other games, except in the one forum where this is intended. We also have a link page - if you want your URL added, please contact the administrator of RAMC at admin@ramotorcity.com.
- Please do not use offensive names or symbols when you log into the chat rooms. When logging into the IC chat rooms, please use your character name. When logging into the OC chat room, please use your site account name.
- Do not use font sizes bigger than +4, or blinking text, in your messages or tag lines. This is simply annoying to look at.
