Rage Across the Motor City
Abandoned warehouses houl mournfully on the riverfront. Factories stare out from glassless windows. Churches compete in vain with liquor stores for the attentions of citizens not too strung out on the latest fix the poor have made popular. Rusted-out victims of grand theft auto litter the unplowed side streets, creating for many the only playground they'll ever see. Mages struggle against a Concensus that has lost hope. Garou and their allies take up arms, preparing to defend the few caerns remaining, the few places where Gaia's spirit can still be found. Welcome to the Motor City. Welcome to Detroit. |

| Rage Across the Motor City House Rules |
- All visitors are requested (and all members are required) to read and understand the
site's Disclaimer.
- We do not display all information regarding the World of Darkness on this site. Support the
authors of the books, and get your own copies!
- Rage Across the Motor City is based in Detroit, Michigan. Although the settings may indicate
that certain elements "control" or in some way influence the area and it's politics, it is
not our intention to portray the real City of Detroit in this way. It's just a game, people!
- We are currently limiting player-characters to Mage and Werewolf (please see
Character Creation for specific information). We do not allow Wraith, Mummy, Changeling, Demon, or Hunter characters. Vampire characters are likewise prohibited, although we do have plans to include the Sabbat at some time. We DO allow for "mortal" characters (kinfolk, Project Twilight, Arcanum, sleeper consors, etc.). Again, see Character Creation
for specifics.
- RAMC follows the majority of the White Wolf storyline, with certain differences. The Second
Massasa War took place, and both sides lost a lot. (For the most part, we concern ourselves
with the Hermetics' losses.) Both Doisetep and Horizon/Concordia were destroyed (although
the instigators of the latter were different than what is commonly "accepted"). The
Reckoning happened, and there exists the Avatar Storm. Details about the various changes to
local history can be found in the forums.
- The staff of Rage Across the Motor City are also players, both here and on other gaming sites.
Please respect that. If they're role playing, please don't interrupt them with character
approval questions and the like.
- The staff and owners of Rage Across the Motor City reserve the right to ban any player from
the site, should the issue warrant such. VERY RARELY can this be appealed. If it happens to
you, it was most likely deserved, so don't go bugging the other staff to let you back in.
- Crossovers Rage Across the Motor City utilizes crossovers extensively.
Specifically, this means that, at the very least, the local Garou Elders and local Magi
Masters know of each other's existence (although perhaps not the significance of the
respective ranks). This is not to say that the werewolves want wizards draining the
cairns, or that the wizards will share their occult knowledge freely! They KNOW ABOUT
each other. Individuals on either side may form friendships, but a Mage will never truly be
a part of a Garou pack or sept, and a werewolf cannot "officially" join a cabal. As far as
Allies go, however....
