Welcome to the official website of the New Year's Eve Family Fun Run/Walk
This event takes place on New Year's Eve, in Detroit, Michigan. It is hosted by the Belle Isle Runners and the Downtown Runners & Walkers.
The races include a one-mile Fun Run/Walk for children 12 and under, a one-mile "open" Fun Run/Walk for kids of all ages, a four-mile run, a four-mile fitness walk, and a four-mile competitive racewalk.
All children (12 & under) in the one-mile receive trophies. All participants, in all races, receive commemorative awards featuring the race logo.
We had approximately 1,000 runners and walkers enter the races this year. To view the race results, please click here.
