Run Around the Motor City
Run Around the Motor City is a not-for-profit organization whose primary purpose is to help runners and walkers in the Detroit Metropolitan area to find local running/walking groups that suit their needs.   The group is in it's infancy, so-to-speak, but we hope to (soon) have links to most (if not all) of the local groups, as well as a calendar of events, and results of local races (or links to results, as needed).   We will also have an online forum, a common place where members of the various groups can get together to plan events, discuss issues, or just chat. There will also be a live online chat available.

We are slowly restoring functionality to the site, after a recent hack. Please be patient, as some of the links on these pages may not work.

People Who Run and Walk Downtown A popular running/walking group. Each Tuesday - rain or shine - 20 to 40 people ranging in abilities from seasoned marathoners to beginning walkers meet at a different metro Detroit site.
